Backpack or pannier? The Ortlieb Vario combines both functions in one versatile companion for everyday use, commuting and cycling tours. It can be converted from a pannier into a comfortable backpack in just a few simple steps. One side features the Quick-Lock2.1 mounting system, while the other is equipped with a padded carrying system, ergonomic shoulder straps and a chest strap.

A reversible front flap covers whichever carrying system is not in use, allowing quick and easy switching between both modes. The waterproof roll-top closure protects your belongings from moisture, while a padded laptop compartment provides secure storage for delicate items. An external zipped pocket and a side mesh pocket offer additional space for frequently used essentials.
