Orbea Occam M30 - Versatile Trail-Fully with Carbon Frame

The Occam model series in the Orbea lineup stands for unlimited riding fun on the trail. And with a fair price/performance ratio. Designed with a focus on trails, this 29-inch full suspension bike is a reliable partner for all areas of use between touring and all-mountain. The geometry and kinematics of the frame were developed in such a way that the Occam can be ridden with 140-millimetre suspension elements (standard Occam) as well as with 150 millimetres (new Occam LT version). The Occam is also available with an aluminium frame (H series) or carbon (M series). This means that everyone can find their own ideal bike to suit their budget and area of use.

In the M30 version, the Occam is equipped with high-quality components, such as precise Shimano XT 1 x 12 gears and the well-known low-maintenance Shimano Deore disc brakes. The suspension elements from Fox are familiar to every connoisseur: a Fox 34 Float fork is used at the front, and a Float DPS Performance rear shock. Thanks to air chambers and indexed adjustment modes, the suspension can be adjusted to your body weight and riding style in no time at all. A telescopic seatpost is also fitted as standard. Monocoque carbon frame with innovative details

The main feature of the frame is its asymmetrical construction. The central support strut runs on the right side of the frame from the down tube to the shock rocker. It can therefore optimally absorb the forces that occur in the bottom bracket area, especially on the right. The seat tube itself remains free of joints in the area of the rocker. This means that long seatposts with a lot of travel can also be used. Touring riders will be pleased about the possibility of mounting a bottle cage. Thanks to the single-sided centre stay, the bottle can be removed unhindered to the left. The new shock cradle has a two-part and amazingly simple design. This ensures low susceptibility to defects.
