The Crossmax SL Pro is the world's first MTB wheel to use Mavic's patented ISM 4D technology. The rim is milled over at the crucial points to save any excess material. This reduces weight and inertia and makes for an even more dynamic ride. ISM 4D makes no compromises in terms of stability or stiffness - despite the material savings, this wheel is perfect for racing and demanding cross-country trails.
To take full advantage of this high-tech wheel, the Crossmax SL Pro comes with Crossmax Pulse tyres. Thanks to the intensive development together with the wheel, this tyre is as fast as it is light and not limited to dry, smooth trails. With its fast rolling centre tread compound and softer shoulder studs (X-mix Dual Compound), Crossmax Pulse offers maximum speed and full cornering control. In addition, it offers superior self-cleaning in mud and thus more grip in all conditions.

Thanks to the easy-to-use UST (Universal Standard for Tubeless) rims and lightweight UST Tubeless Ready tyres, this fast, lightweight wheel-tyre system guarantees all the tubeless advantages in itself - traction, control, higher puncture resistance and less weight.

The proven ITS4 freewheel offers lightning-fast traction. And the Crossmax SL Pro hubs are compatible with most axle standards - making it easy to change to another suspension fork or frame.

The scope of delivery includes adapters for adaptation to 9 mm (quick release) and 15 mm (plug-in) axles at the front and 9 x 135 mm (quick release), 12 x 135 mm and 12 x 142 mm at the rear. Additionally there are versions for Cannondale Lefty Supermax (2.0) front and Ai/Offset rear in 27.5" and 29". The Crossmax SL Pro comes in Black/Grey or Yellow Ltd, each with a matching tyre finish. In addition there is a 26" version in Black, which is delivered without tires.
