Mavic Allroad SL CL M11 Shimano

The lightweight aluminium rims of the Allroad SL use ISM 4D technology to selectively remove material from the rim where it is not needed and leave it in the area of the rim holes where high stresses occur. Double-thickness spokes further reduce weight and make the wheel more agile. The spokes have an elliptical aero design that can save up to 5 watts of energy at unchanged speed. The wide rims (22 mm jaw width) are compatible with tubeless tyres from 28 to 64 mm wide and provide a smooth, efficient ride.

The UST system has been improved with a new rim bed shape that makes it easier than ever to mount and change tyres. Fore technology attaches the spokes to the rim without drilling the outer rim bed, eliminating the need for rim tape. No hassle, no extra weight (but another 30 g saved).

The new Infinity hub model range optimises lacing with highly controlled tension for maximum power transfer, and the Instant Drive 360 freewheel, combined with our automatic bearing preload (QRM Auto), ensures fast power closure, more stiffness and greater durability. The wheel is compatible with centre-lock brake discs and available with either Shimano HG or Sram XD road freewheel bodies. With an optional freewheel body, the HR hub can also be converted to Campagnolo. The front hub has a 12 mm thru axle that can be converted to 15 mm or quick release. The rear has a 12x142 mm thru axle that can also be converted to a quick release.
