The Intrigue series for women was developed for maximum fun on single trails. With regard to the revised chassis, however, the new Intrigue X E+ 2 can confidently be called a perfect all-rounder. All the better! After all, a tour consists not only of whimsical trails. And thanks to the powerful SyncDrive motor, even the way up the mountain becomes a real pleasure ride. Even rather boring gravel paths the Intrigue conjures a dose of flow on the surface. A new suspension, which now combines 140 millimeters of rear travel with a 150-mm fork, this e-fully has been built according to the most modern criteria. The Fox 36 Float Rhythm offers a welcome plus in reserves on the descents. Another clever detail sits in the Intrigue X frame in the bell crank of the rear triangle. With the help of a so-called flip chip, you can adjust the geometry of the chassis to your needs in no time. Specifically, this allows you to set the seat and steering angles flatter or steeper. In typical Giant fashion, every detail of the equipment is coherent, right down to the trendy Maxxis tires with a width of 2.6 inches.

Innovative parts ensure the best performance

At the heart of the Intrigue X E+ 2 is a SyncDrive motor that pushes you forward with five selectable levels of assistance and 80 Nm of torque. The SyncDrive Pro was developed in cooperation with the specialists from Yamaha. The developers contributed a software with the help of which the stages can be individually tuned, from gentle to aggressive. Fine-tuning can be done conveniently from a smartphone via an app. Another innovation is the Maestro technology, which has already won numerous tests in trade magazines. The rear triangle rotates around four specially arranged pivot points, which ensures that the suspension is always active and minimizes drive influences. That's why the Intrigue is so popular with female touring bikers: the suspension works unobtrusively uphill, but can unleash its full potential downhill. With a mix of Shimano XT and Deore components, the Intrigue X E+ 2 is on its way to the top class. And parts such as telescopic seatpost or handlebars can also convince in terms of quality.
