The Shimano XT/SLX 12-speed drivetrain provides reliable shifting across a wide range of ratios. The Fox Float 34 SC performance fork and a DPS Evol performance rear shock provide 120 mm of suspension front and rear. The Kona Race Light carbon frame with revised geometry is the perfect base for riders, whether for cross country racing or the single trail. Shimano SLX brakes with 180mm and 160mm rotors slow you down when you need to and are still lightweight. The popular Maxxis Rekon Race 29 x 2.4-inch tyres give you excellent traction on rough terrain, yet are lightweight and reliable tyres for rolling fast.

The Kona Hei Hei frame is equipped with 120mm of travel, internal cable routing, a 12x148mm thru axle and two bottle cage mounts. The bottle mounts sit on the seat tube and down tube. Kona has also fitted a rubber chainstay protector to the frame, which keeps the bike quiet in rougher sections.
