Kona Coco - Gliding through the city in classic style

The Kona brand was already founded in Canada in 1988 and is one of the pioneers among bike manufacturers. We especially like the stylish city, commuter and gravel bikes in the extensive programme. The Kona Coco is a fine example of how to interpret a classic mixed frame in a modern way. You benefit from a harmonious seating position and comfortable 27.5-inch wheels that roll smoothly over any terrain thanks to the 47 millimetre wide tyres. The bright tyre sidewall makes the design of this city cruiser perfect. And last but not least, the price/performance ratio of the Kona Coco convinces us.

Elaborately processed aluminium frame

The Kona company has always been known for its frames, which are manufactured with great attention to detail. At the sight of the cleanly scaled welds, connoisseurs click their tongues. Butted tubes made of lightweight 6061 aluminium are used. The Shimano Alivio drive with single chainring is as simple and functional as the overall design. Nine gears are quite sufficient for urban use. The chainring has a protective ring on both sides, which ensures that the chain runs safely. The reliable disc brakes from the manufacturer Tektro are establishing themselves more and more in the market. And thanks to corresponding threads on the rear end and fork, rear and front luggage racks can be easily retrofitted.
