Bosch update July 2025: Are you ready for more power?

From July 2025, you can increase the torque of the Gen 5 Bosch motors (BDU38) to up to 100 Nm using the Flow app. Your advantage: noticeably more thrust and up to 400% motor support. You can use the eBike Flow app to customise the riding modes and adapt the performance precisely to your riding style.

Bosch Performance CX – redefining e-biking!

The new Bosch Performance Line CX motor offers everything you need for your e-mountain bike experience: power, handling and quiet operation. With up to 100 Nm of torque, it provides powerful support on steep climbs and challenging trails. Thanks to improved sensor technology, the motor responds even faster to your pedalling and ensures a dynamic, natural riding experience. Weighing just 2.8 kg, the motor noticeably improves the handling of your e-bike, which really pays off on long tours and technical sections. It also runs more quietly, making for a more pleasant riding experience. Features such as Extended Boost and the revised push assist give you maximum control off-road. With these new features, the Bosch Performance Line CX motor takes your e-mountain bike experience to a whole new level.

Frame details

The aluminum frame of the Entice 7+ Excite ABS was developed by Kalkhoff to offer more stability with increased riding comfort off the beaten track. This is achieved thanks to the 120 mm full suspension and the use of 27.5-inch wheels. The Bosch Performance Line CX motor is seamlessly integrated into the center of the frame, which not only provides an optimal center of gravity, but also increases the bike's agility on uneven trails. The clean, modern design is rounded off by the internally routed cables, which ensure a tidy look and greater durability of shifting and braking components. The powerful 800 Wh battery guarantees a long range, and the Bosch Kiox 500 display enables precise control of all important functions so that you always have your ride under control.
