With the Entice 5.B Move+, Kalkhoff provides proof that comfort and high stability need not be mutually exclusive. And that means comfort in the sense of easy ascents and descents. Thanks to the compact fourth-generation Bosch Performance CX motor, the step-through has even been lowered. What's more, the Plus(+) at the end of the model name at Kalkhoff marks particularly heavy-duty models that are approved for a system weight of up to 170 kilos. For information: the system weight is made up of the e-bike, rider and payload. The robust Integrale 0.6 CX aluminum frame ensures that the ride doesn't feel spongy, even with a luggage load. The motorization never reaches its limits with the husky Bosch motor and 625-Wh battery. Control is via a tried-and-tested Intuvia display on the handlebars. Kalkhoff has also taken the SUV concept to its logical conclusion with the other equipment: hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro with four pistons and 180 mm discs provide reliable braking at the front and rear. The wheels are mounted in the frame and fork with the aid of sturdy thru axles. And also for detours on gravel and forest paths, the Entice 5.B Move+ is well equipped: With a Suntour Mobie34 Air suspension fork and a suspension seatpost.
