The Endeavour 5 Advance+ belongs to Kalkhoff's family of (+) models, which are particularly heavy-duty because they are approved for a system weight of up to 170 kilos. This is the sum of the rider, e-bike and luggage load.
For such an e-bike, no other drive than the Bosch flagship Performance CX Gen4 in combination with a 625 Wh PowerTube comes into question. Technically, the drive is also state-of-the-art thanks to the Smart System: the Bosch Kiox 300 display and the LED Remote can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth. This opens up numerous possibilities, from motor tuning to navigation.
Kalkhoff has taken the SUV concept to its logical conclusion with the other equipment: Hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro provide reliable braking with 180 mm discs at the front and rear. The wheels are fixed to the frame and fork with sturdy thru axles. A Suntour Mobie34 Air suspension fork provides comfort on gravel and forest trails.
