One of these is the Adventr series, a clever mix of a fully-fledged E-Fully mountain bike and a trekking and touring bike. This is exactly what the Adventr was developed for. On the one hand, it can impress as a mountain bike with its full-suspension 140 mm chassis. And best of all, the Adventr is equipped with a powerful Yamaha drive unit, which is powered by a 720 Wh battery. You can even plug in an optional range extender to extend your range by a further 360 watt hours. Unbeatable when you're going on a long tour.

In the SE model variant, the Adventr comes with responsive and sensitively tunable Fox air suspension elements from the cult forge of the suspension specialists. The Sram GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain also belongs to the upper class. In combination with the Magura MT5 disc brakes, the components deliver first-class performance. With 203 millimetre diameter brake discs and 4-piston technology, you need not fear any descent, no matter how steep. Not even with a load of luggage. High-quality DT Swiss wheels and a telescopic seat post complete the equipment.

Yamaha e-bike motors - on a par with the market leaders

The global corporation Yamaha also plays in the premier league today as a manufacturer of e-bike motors. Haibike played an important role in establishing the brand, as the Schweinfurt-based company was the first to use Yamaha motors in Europe in 2014. Since then, the technology has continued to develop and the motors have become more compact and more powerful. With a torque of 85 Nm, the installed Yamaha PW-X3 can easily compete with the big boys. The Haibike aluminium frame and drive unit form a perfect unit. Hidden in the down tube is a removable battery with 720 watt hours, which can cope with a day trip in the Alps without batting an eyelid. We have already mentioned the optional range extender battery. Hardly any other e-bike makes you so independent of a power socket.
