The Radix Mips® combines rugged design and durability to meet the demands of serious trail riders. It offers the coverage, light weight and ventilation you need to ride comfortably and confidently all day long. The adjustable Roc Loc® 5 Mips system allows you to customise the fit and feel for long-term stability and comfort, while providing an extra level of protection against rotational forces in the event of an oblique impact. The P.O.V.™ visor can be adjusted by 15 degrees, and the durable polycarbonate outer shell is permanently fused to the EPS foam liner using our in-mould construction process to improve durability and ventilation without adding bulk.

MIPS – what is it?

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is an advanced helmet technology that plays a crucial role in protecting against oblique impact injuries. An additional sliding shell in the helmet reduces the rotational force acting on the head and brain. This minimises the risk of head injuries, especially during sporting activities such as cycling, where oblique impact falls are particularly common. MIPS helmets offer improved protection and increase the safety of the helmet wearer.

• Hardshell with In-Mold Hardbody™ Lower Wrap: Robust outer shell with firmly bonded polycarbonate lower shell. Ensures high stability and durability with low weight.
• P.O.V. visor: Adjustable visor with multiple grid positions. Can be adjusted with one hand while riding and offers space to store glasses underneath.
• ROC LOC® 5 adjustment system: Very lightweight, comfortable adjustment system. Allows quick, one-handed fine adjustment of fit and tilt angle.
• Wind Tunnel™ ventilation: Effective ventilation system with air channels that draw cool air in and warm air out – for noticeably better cooling while riding.
