Giant Trance X E+ 2 - The all-rounder Trance with upscale features.

The Trance series was developed for maximum fun on single trails. With regard to the revised chassis, however, the new Trance X E+ 2 can confidently be called a perfect all-rounder. All the better! After all, a tour doesn't just consist of fun trails. And thanks to the powerful SyncDrive motor, even the way up the mountain becomes a real pleasure ride. Even rather boring gravel paths are given a dose of flow by the Trance X E+ 2. With new 29-inch wheels and a chassis that now combines 140 millimetres of rear travel with a 150 mm suspension fork, this e-fully has been built according to the most modern criteria. The Fox 36 Float Rhythm offers a welcome plus in reserves when going downhill. Another clever detail of the Trance X frame is in the rear triangle lever. With the help of a so-called flip chip, you can adjust the geometry of the chassis to your needs in no time at all. Specifically, you can adjust the seat and steering angles to be flatter or steeper. In typical Giant style, every detail of the equipment is coherent, right down to the trendy Maxxis tyres with a width of 2.6 inches.

Innovative parts from the Giant labs ensure top performance

At the heart of the Trance X E+ 2 is a SyncDrive motor that pushes you forward with five selectable levels of assistance and 80 Nm of torque. The SyncDrive Pro was developed in cooperation with the specialists from Yamaha. The Giant developers contributed software that allows you to adjust the levels individually, from gentle to aggressive. The fine-tuning can be done conveniently from a smartphone via an app. Another Giant innovation is the Maestro technology, which has already won numerous tests in trade magazines. The rear triangle rotates around four specially arranged pivot points, which ensures that the suspension is always active and minimises drive influences. This is why the Trance is so popular with touring bikers: the suspension works inconspicuously uphill, but can unfold its full potential downhill. The rule for the Giant model series is: the smaller the number in the name, the higher the quality of the equipment. With a mix of Shimano XT and Deore components, the Trance X E+ 2 is on its way to the top class. And the in-house Giant parts such as the telescopic seatpost or handlebars are also convincing in terms of quality.
