The Giant Trance series stands for trail performance at its best! The well-balanced geometry combined with 29-inch wheels ensures an agile and lively ride. For even more fun on technical trails, Giant has given the brand new Trance X more suspension travel. The rear triangle now offers 135 millimetres of travel, which can be fully utilised thanks to the outstanding Maestro kinematics. Following the current trend, a 150 mm suspension fork works at the front, which offers a pleasant plus of reserves on the downhill. Another clever detail of the Trance X is the lever in the rear triangle. With the help of a so-called flip chip you can adjust the geometry of the chassis to your needs in no time at all. Specifically, you can adjust the seat and steering angle to a flatter or steeper angle. At the same time, this changes the ground clearance of the bottom bracket. And for that last bit of riding fun, there are non-slip 2.5-inch Maxxis Minion tyres.
Since its market launch, the Maestro technology developed by Giant has won numerous test victories in specialist magazines. The rear triangle rotates around four specially arranged pivot points, which ensures that the suspension is always active and minimises drive influences. One more reason why the Trance is so popular with touring bikers and alpine cross-country skiers. After all, uphill the suspension must work as inconspicuously as possible and unfold its full potential downhill. A new feature of the Trance X is the geometry adjustment on the carbon lever. You can also rely on Giant's experience from the racing teams when it comes to equipment. The proven Shimano SLX group is used here, combined with Giant's own components, including a remote-controlled telescopic seat post. A highly functional ensemble, that's all you need.
