With the brand new Trance X 1, Giant reaches the next stage of development of the Trance trail fullys. The frame has been completely redesigned and takes a decisive step towards all-mountain use with a 135-millimeter rear triangle. The Trance remains an agile trail fully, but is even more fun in technically challenging terrain. Alpencrosser will appreciate that. Because thanks to the superior Maestro kinematics, the rear triangle works unobtrusively when climbing. On rough trails and downhills, however, it unfolds its full potential. Another clever detail sits in the Trance X in the bell crank. With the help of a so-called flip chip, you can adjust the geometry of the chassis to your needs in no time. Specifically, you can use it to set the seat and steering angles flatter or steeper. At the same time, this changes the ground clearance of the bottom bracket. To make the chassis perfect, a 150 mm suspension fork works at the front, which offers a pleasant plus in reserves when going downhill. And for the last bit of riding fun, grippy Maxxis Minion tires with a width of 2.5 inches provide.

Since the market launch, the Maestro technology developed by Giant has won numerous tests in the trade magazines. The rear triangle rotates around four specially arranged pivot points, which ensures an always active suspension and minimizes drive influences. The equipment of the new Trance X 1 also leaves nothing to be desired. Drive and disc brakes come from the renowned SLX group of the component market leader Shimano and thus mark the highest performance level. Supplemented by in-house Giant components, which are hardly inferior to this standard.
