The new TCR Advanced Pro 1 Disc has all the features that make up a modern carbon racing machine: A top processed carbon frame, whose aerodynamic properties could even be improved. A sporty-comfortable geometry that can both performance and endurance. Giant installs a fine Shimano Ultegra 2x11 complete equipment, consisting of crank, rear derailleur, front derailleur and shift- / brake levers. Very special on the Pro models is the Giant PowerPro Power Meter, which which can be connected via Bluetooth and ANT+ with popular bike computers, such as those from Garmin. In addition, there is a high-quality Giant SLR 1 Disc carbon wheelset, which is with 1440g and 42mm depth also still super light and offers optimal power distribution.
All this at a price that even amazes us. Other updates in the 2022er model: frame and fork offer more tire clearance, so that tires up to 32 millimeters wide can be ridden. This makes the TCR Advanced Pro 1 Disc a real high-performance racer or a comfortable all-round touring race bike if desired. The new Variant Carbon Aero seatpost ensures with high flex that the rider does not get tired as quickly. Ideal if you love long distances, marathons and competitions.

Frame details

As Giant is the largest bike manufacturer in the world you can rely on about 25 years of experience in the construction of carbon frames. In the tests of trade magazines Giant frames regularly set the benchmark. With the TCR, stiffness, efficiency and comfort are in an optimal ratio. More lightweight construction is hardly possible in this class. In contrast, the new TCR frame could be improved in terms of aerodynamics. Each tube cross-section was analyzed and manufactured using the latest robot technology. The result is a frame that efficiently converts each of your kicks into propulsion. And lets you get out the decisive seconds in the competition. Comfort and liveliness in its most beautiful form. The new 12 mm thru axles make a major contribution to the system stiffness. They ensure that the wheels sit 100 percent precisely in the dropouts during every assembly. Grinding brake discs are thus eliminated. Flat suspensions improve overall handling, while additional clearance in the frame and fork allows the use of tires up to 32 mm in diameter.
With an impressive stiffness-to-weight ratio and an updated aero tube design, this frameset is designed to give racers and road bikers superior climbing ability, aerodynamic efficiency and sprint stiffness for race-winning performance.  This is where the TCR has the most quantifiable improvements over previous models. The integrated disc brakes deliver smooth, powerful braking performance and modulation for added control in changing weather and road conditions.
