For example, the frame and fork now offer more tyre clearance, so that tyres up to 32 millimetres wide can be ridden. This brings the TCR Advanced 2 Disc closer to a gravel bike. Because varied tours, which occasionally lead over forest and gravel paths, are currently very much in vogue. The new Variant Carbon Aero seat post with its high flex ensures that the rider does not tire so quickly. The sporty and comfortable seating position makes the TCR a specialist for long distances, marathons and competitions. For less than 2000 Euros Giant has built a racing machine that even professionals can click their tongues. With high-performance Shimano 105 components including hydraulic disc brakes. Also the 8.4 kilo total weight speaks for itself.

Completely reworked Aero frame

On the other hand, the new TCR frame has been improved in terms of aerodynamics. Every tube cross section was analysed and manufactured using the latest robot technology. The new 12 mm plug-in axles make a major contribution to system rigidity. They ensure that the wheels sit 100 percent precisely in the dropouts every time they are fitted. Grinding brake discs are thus eliminated.
