For example, the frame and fork now offer more tire clearance so that tires up to 32 millimeters wide can be ridden. The new Variant Carbon Aero seatpost ensures with high flex that the rider does not tire so quickly. The sporty, comfortable seating position makes the TCR a specialist for long distances, marathons and competitions. For under 2500 euros, Giant has built a racing machine here, with which even professionals click their tongues. With high-performance Shimano 105 components including hydraulic disc brakes.

As Giant is the largest bike manufacturer in the world you can rely on about 25 years of experience in the construction of carbon frames. More lightweight construction is hardly possible in this class. In contrast, the new TCR frame could be improved in terms of aerodynamics. Each tube cross-section was analyzed and manufactured using the latest robot technology. The result is a frame that efficiently converts each of your kicks into propulsion. And lets you get out the decisive seconds in the competition. Comfort and liveliness in its most beautiful form. The new 12 mm thru axles make a major contribution to the system stiffness. They ensure that the wheels sit 100 percent precisely in the dropouts during every assembly. Grinding brake discs are thus eliminated. Flat suspensions improve overall handling, while additional clearance in the frame and fork allows the use of tires up to 32 mm in diameter.
With an impressive stiffness-to-weight ratio and an updated aero tube design, this frameset is designed to give racers and road bikers superior climbing ability, aerodynamic efficiency and sprint stiffness for race-winning performance.  This is where the TCR has the most quantifiable improvements over previous models.
