The Reign series is designed for maximum fun on hard, steep and difficult trails. In view of the revised chassis, however, you can safely call the new Reign E+1 a perfect enduro-bike. All the better! After all, a trip consists not only of whimsical trails. And thanks to the powerful SyncDrive motor, even the way up the mountain becomes a real pleasure ride. Even rather boring gravel roads conjures the Reign E+1 a dose of flow on the surface. Equipped with a 29-inch wheel at the front and a 27.5-inch wheel at the rear, and a chassis that now combines 160 millimeters of rear travel with a 170-mm Fox 38 suspension fork, this e-fully has been built according to the most modern criteria. The Fox 38 Float Rhythm offers a welcome plus in reserves on the downhills, as well as excellent stiffness values. On top of that, Giant again falls back on the proven, powerful Shimano XT 4-piston brakes. Just the right thing for an e-fully of this caliber.
Another clever detail sits in the Reign-E frame in the linkage of the rear triangle. With the help of a so-called flip chip, you can adjust the geometry of the chassis to your needs in no time at all. Specifically, this allows you to set the seat and steering angles flatter or steeper. In typical Giant fashion, every detail of the equipment is coherent, right down to the trendy Maxxis tires with 2.6-inch widths in the front and 2.5-inch widths in the rear.

Frame details

Proven Maestro rear suspension (160 mm) and powerful but compact SyncDrive Pro motor technology boost your abilities on steep climbs and rough descents. Updated geometry with a shorter rear triangle and longer reach, and a 29-inch front wheel and 27.5-inch rear wheel work together to offer superior handling and agility on technical terrain. The new control units include RideControl Go, which is integrated into the top tube, and RideControl Ergo 3, which is mounted on the handlebar near the grip.
The RideControl Ergo 3 control unit offers integrated, user-friendly button controls that are easy to use. The GIANT e-bike app gives you tuning options and e-bike specific information. The new handlebar remote can be mounted on the left or right side, depending on your preference, for a clean cockpit. You also have the option to add a second control, giving you three more buttons. The buttons can be configured with the RideControl app to fully customize your controls. Six smart sensors precisely measure the force applied to the pedals, allowing the motor to provide just the right amount of assistance to create a natural, powerful riding experience. This helps optimize energy efficiency for both the rider and the battery system.
