The Varia RearVue 820 is a StVZO-approved rear light with integrated radar technology that detects vehicles from a distance of up to 175 metres. The radar alerts you to approaching vehicles on compatible Edge® bike computers, Garmin smartwatches or in the Varia™ app on your smartphone. The Varia™ RearVue 820 StVZO uses innovative radar technology to detect the size of the vehicle and visually indicate the passing distance. Whether travelling at the same speed or overtaking, vehicles are detected from a distance of up to 175 metres. The bright, StVZO-approved rear light is visible from distances of up to 350 metres and offers a battery life of up to 16 hours in continuous light mode with radar and up to 30 hours in radar mode.  The slim and aerodynamic Varia RearVue 820 can be mounted on the seat post of road bike, touring or city bikes without tools. With the Garmin Varia app, the Varia can now also be used directly with a smartphone for the first time and warns of approaching vehicles.
