For the VAM² SL 9.9, Focus has developed a Flex Pivot rear triangle that combines ideal flex behavior with a lightweight carbon layup. Thanks to the efficient yet playful bike character, you can accelerate your speed uphill to the maximum. Nevertheless, this E-MTB gives you full confidence to ride really fast downhill too thanks to plenty of downhill reserves. With the new Flex Pivot design, Focus has been able to significantly reduce the frame material and the number of bearings and bolts. The result is our lightest E-MTB: the MAX carbon frame of the 9th series weighs just 2,172 g (size M, including linkage and bolts). It also gives the rear triangle its seamless look. The clean design of the VAM² SL 9.9 continues on the down tube: the fully integrated battery ensures a sleek look and further weight reduction.

Integration, but done right

Focus has installed the new MTB One Piece SL cockpit on the VAM² SL 9.9. This stem/handlebar combination is made entirely of carbon and is as light as it is beautiful. It weighs 290 g and has a standard width of 800 mm, but can also be shortened to 760 mm. The virtual length is 50 mm, the rise 25 mm. The VAM² SL 9.9 cockpit can be equipped with a computer and action camera mount. This allows you to record your riding statistics as well as create lasting memories. To extend the service life of your VAM² SL 9.9 and protect the bearings even better, we have fitted the headset with two additional integrated seals.

Efficient FAZUA drive system

The FAZUA Ride 60 gives you the feeling that your legs are having their best day. With 60 Nm of torque and a maximum power of 450 W, it gives you a boost and still offers a natural riding experience. You'll cover even more distance and ride more trails in the same amount of time. With the 125 mm suspension and direct handling of the VAM² SL 9.9, you will experience your home trails in a different way than usual. This E-MTB gives you a new riding experience that you might otherwise be more familiar with from pump tracks. You'll be surprised how far you can go with 430 Wh. Thanks to the efficiency and low weight of the VAM² SL 9.9, you can even pedal home with an empty battery if necessary. You can also get even more out of the FAZUA system by connecting it to your bike computer. This allows you to keep an eye on your cadence and performance values for targeted training at all times.
