With 130-millimeter suspension and the latest Bosch Performance CX Smart drive, the Thron² 6.9 is designed as an all-round and trail bike. Ready for whimsical touring and XXL off-road riding fun. In the EQP ABS version, however, Focus shows that the Thron² can be much more. For example, the perfect touring e-bike for which no path is too rocky. Or an arrow-quick e-bike for commuters who like to take every shortcut through the forest on their way to work. EQP ("equipped") means that the Thron² is equipped with a luggage rack, light system, side stand and mudguards ex works.

But the real highlight of this e-fully is the new Bosch anti-lock braking system on the front brake. A bike that remains controllable when braking hard on loose ground could well be called the next evolutionary step. Modern technology puts an end to the uncomfortable feeling of having to brake hard on a gravel road. The ABS microprocessor on the suspension fork works perfectly together with the Magura MTC disc brake, also made in Germany. Modern technology also has to offer the drive, where all components from motor to display are networked via the smart system from Bosch. Innovative frame with Focus F.O.L.D kinematics and Shimano Deore components

In the Thron² series, Focus relies on durable and indestructible aluminum. An optimal and stable basis for the attachments. Thus, the carrier is loadable with up to 16 kilos. For optimal protection against punctures Focus has developed the unique F.O.L.D. kinematics. A special design of the shock linkage ensures that the rear end hardens towards the end of the suspension travel, but reacts extremely sensitively to obstacles in the most used area of the suspension travel. The effect: the F.O.L.D. chassis glides sensitively over gravel roads, but still offers enough reserves for larger impacts. These are reliably absorbed by the Suntour suspension elements. In addition to the Magura disc brakes, the Shimano Deore 1 x 12 gears, which have been tried and tested for years, also belong to the category of carefree components.
