Focus Thron² 6.9 ABS - comfort and control for long tours in demanding terrain

The Focus Thron² 6.9 ABS is specially designed for enduring tours in mountainous terrain. The suspension with the tuned Thron² Tune absorbs bumps effectively, while the long chainstays ensure reliable traction on steep climbs. This allows you to maintain full control even on challenging trails and ride powerfully uphill.

For your safety, the bike is equipped with the Bosch anti-lock braking system (ABS), which prevents the front wheel from slipping and thus minimises falls over the handlebars. The ABS is supported by powerful 4-piston disc brakes with 203 mm brake discs, which ensure safe deceleration even on difficult terrain. The Thron² 6.9 ABS also offers smart anti-theft features with mounts for Apple AirTag or Chipolo as well as space for the Bosch ConnectModule.

The powerful 5th generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor delivers between 85 and 100 Nm of torque and provides reliable support. The large 800 Wh battery guarantees long-lasting rides and can be extended to up to 1050 Wh with the PowerMore 250 Wh Range Extender - ideal for long tours.

Bosch update July 2025: Are you ready for more power?

From July 2025, you can increase the torque of the Gen 5 Bosch motors (BDU38) to up to 100 Nm using the Flow app. Your advantage: noticeably more thrust and up to 400% motor support. You can use the eBike Flow app to customise the riding modes and adapt the performance precisely to your riding style.
