Focus Thron² 6.8 EQP - Versatile E-Fully with full equipment

With the Thron² 6.8 EQP the German manufacturer Focus shows that an E-Fully can do everything. Because thanks to its full equipment (EQP = "equipped") with luggage rack, lighting system, side stand and mudguards, the Thron² becomes the perfect all-rounder. A city, touring and mountain bike in unison. The basis is a sporty and comfortable aluminium frame with Focus's own F.O.L.D. kinematics, which is also used in the pure off-road e-fullys. Compared to the conventional Thron² 6.8 model, some components have been adapted in detail for the tour-oriented field of application: The 29-inch wheels are covered with Schwalbe Hurrican Performance tyres, which roll easily even on asphalt. An SR Suntour XCR 34 suspension fork is used at the front. And a telescopic seat post has been dispensed with in favour of the high-quality add-on parts.

Effortlessly uphill thanks to the new Bosch Performance CX Gen4 drive

The new Bosch drive of the premium class has enough thrust to effectively support you even with luggage. The power package consisting of the Performance CX Gen4 motor and 625-Wh-InTube battery is not only much more compact than ever before, but also opens up undreamt-of possibilities in terms of endurance. The battery can be charged or removed from the bike. A Bosch Purion display on the handlebars provides the necessary information about energy balance and distance. The other components are the same as for the Focus Thron² 6.8 off-road model: the drive with the indestructible Shimano SLX 12-speed rear derailleur. And the hydraulic Shimano disc brakes, filled with service-friendly mineral oil. Four pistons work in the brake callipers, which ensure high contact pressure on the discs.
