Focus Thron² 6.8 ABS - comfort and safety on long, mountainous tours

The Focus Thron² 6.8 ABS was specially developed for long E-MTB tours in demanding terrain. The suspension with the specific Thron² Tune ensures that bumps are reliably absorbed, while the long chainstays provide optimum traction on climbs. This means you always have full control and power transfer, even on steep climbs.

For maximum safety, the bike is equipped with the Bosch anti-lock braking system (ABS). This prevents the front wheel from slipping and reduces the risk of falling over the handlebars. The ABS is supported by powerful 4-piston disc brakes with 203 mm brake discs, which provide reliable deceleration even on difficult surfaces. The Thron² 6.8 ABS also offers smart anti-theft features: Mounts for Apple AirTag or Chipolo as well as space for the Bosch ConnectModule enable comprehensive tracking.

The Thron² 6.8 ABS is powered by the 5th generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor with a torque of 85 to 100 Nm. The large 800 Wh battery ensures long-lasting rides, which can be extended to up to 1050 Wh with the PowerMore 250 Wh Range Extender. This means you are also ideally equipped for long tours.

Bosch update July 2025: Are you ready for more power?

From July 2025, you can increase the torque of the Gen 5 Bosch motors (BDU38) to up to 100 Nm using the Flow app. Your advantage: noticeably more thrust and up to 400% motor support. You can use the eBike Flow app to customise the riding modes and adapt the performance precisely to your riding style.
