The Focus Thron² 6.6 is designed for e-mountainbikers who value comfort, control and modern connectivity on long, varied tours. Thanks to the balanced suspension, which is specially adapted to the area of use, bumps are effectively filtered out so that you stay relaxed in the saddle even on longer rides. The SR Suntour XCR 36 X suspension fork in combination with the Edge-X R shock delivers reliable performance on trails and more technical sections. Long chainstays ensure efficient power transmission and improve traction on steep climbs.

The bike is powered by the 5th generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor with a torque of up to 100 Nm. The integrated 800 Wh battery offers plenty of range, even on long tours with many metres of elevation gain. In combination with the optional PowerMore Range Extender, up to 1050 Wh is possible - ideal for extended adventures covering many kilometres.

Bosch update July 2025: Are you ready for more power?

From July 2025, you will be able to increase the torque of Gen 5 Bosch motors (BDU38) to up to 100 Nm using the Flow app. The advantage for you: noticeably more thrust and up to 400% motor assistance. Using the eBike Flow app, you can customise the riding modes and tailor the performance precisely to your riding style.

The new Bosch Performance Line CX motor offers everything you need for your e-mountain bike experience: power, handling and quiet operation. With up to 100 Nm of torque, it provides powerful support on steep climbs and challenging trails. Thanks to improved sensor technology, the motor responds even faster to your pedalling and ensures a dynamic, natural riding experience. Weighing just 2.8 kg, the motor noticeably improves the handling of your e-bike, which really pays off on long tours and technical sections. It also runs more quietly, making for a more pleasant riding experience. Features such as Extended Boost and the revised push assist give you maximum control off-road. With these new features, the Bosch Performance Line CX motor takes your e-mountain bike experience to a whole new level.
