Focus Sam² 6.9 - Maximum grip, uncompromising performance

The Sam² 6.9 is aimed at riders who are out and about in challenging terrain and are looking for an e-mountainbike that is particularly impressive on descents. Whether in the bike park, on enduro trails or in alpine terrain - the riding behaviour is consistently designed for control and stability at high speeds. The mullet wheel combination combines smooth-running 29-inch tyres at the front with a manoeuvrable 27.5-inch rear wheel, providing a good balance of traction and agility. At the same time, the adjustable geometry allows you to adapt the steering angle and chainstays to your riding style or the route.

The suspension consists of a Fox 38 Factory Grip X2 suspension fork and a Fox DHX Performance steel spring damper - both components work precisely even on rough surfaces and offer a high level of control. The electronic SRAM Eagle Transmission gear system delivers wireless, reliable gear changes, while the robust DT Swiss HF1900 wheels ensure a secure riding experience even on jumps and rocky passages.

The bike is powered by the Bosch Performance Line CX motor with a maximum torque of 85 Nm. In combination with an 800 Wh battery, the system is suitable for longer tours with many metres of elevation gain. The aluminium frame provides the necessary stability, but remains balanced in terms of handling - ideal for riders who demand performance downhill but don't want to sacrifice comfort on the climbs.

Bosch update July 2025: Are you ready for more power?

From July 2025, you can increase the torque of the Gen 5 Bosch motors (BDU38) to up to 100 Nm using the Flow app. Your advantage: noticeably more thrust and up to 400% motor support. You can use the eBike Flow app to customise the riding modes and adapt the performance precisely to your riding style.

It also runs more quietly, making for a more pleasant riding experience. Features such as Extended Boost and the revised push assist give you maximum control off-road.
