When it comes to comfortable trekking e-bikes with style, the models from the Stuttgart-based manufacturer Focus are at the forefront. With the Focus Planet² 5.9, the engineers at Focus have managed to build a comfortable frame that is extremely stable. Thanks to the compact third-generation Bosch Performance Line motor with 65Nm of torque, some weight has been saved. The 500 watt-hour battery also contributes to a sportier weight compared to the big brothers and sisters. Furthermore, you can look forward to a powerful 2-piston brake system from Shimano with 180 mm discs at the front and 160 mm at the rear. The wheels are mounted in the frame and fork with the help of sturdy thru axles. For detours on gravel and forest paths, fat Schwalbe Hurricane 2.25 tyres and an SR Suntour 80mm suspension fork provide pleasant damping. The Touring rack on the PLANET² 5.9 makes your transport trips easier, while the smart Herrmans H-Black MR8 LED  ensures perfectly illuminated paths. Mudguards and stands are of course part of the extensive equipment of the PLANET².

The Planet series is also characterised by an independent design in which the frame and drive seem to be made of one piece. The developers have definitely exploited all possibilities to optimally integrate the Bosch Performance Line motor and a powerful 500 watt-hour battery into the frame.
