Focus Jam² 8.0 - Limited Edition with the super-light Bosch CX Race motor

In this equipment variant, the Focus Jam² literally outgrows itself. At the heart of the noble all-rounder is Bosch's limited Race version of the Performance CX motor. On the one hand, the engine weighs significantly less than three kilograms, which noticeably improves handling and trail performance. On the other hand, the software offers a race riding mode specially developed for eMTB races, in which the drive releases its power even more explosively. And the InTube battery pushes you forward tirelessly with 750 watt hours. So you could call the Jam² 8.0 the ultimate all-rounder. With 150-millimeter suspension, it is positioned in the Focus range between the cross-country-oriented Thron² and the Sam² Enduro. The brand new models of the Jam² 8 series are based on a carbon frame with aluminum rear triangle. The material carbon saves weight and makes this all-rounder light and agile in handling. In addition, the frame geometry offers a high freedom of movement thanks to the low projection height. An advantage on winding trails with many changes of direction. But even apart from the exclusive drive ensemble, the Jam² 8.9 is not stingy with charms: superior Fox suspension with Kashima coating and Factory Tuning, gears and brakes from the Shimano XT group and a standard telescopic seatpost.

Lightweight carbon frame with efficient Focus F.O.L.D kinematics

With its organic shapes, the Jam² 8.0's main frame takes advantage of carbon. There is no other design with which stiffness and power flow can be better controlled. To protect against stone chips, a protector is applied to the down tube in front of the engine block. The F.O.L.D. kinematics developed by Focus ensures that the rear suspension works sensitively over the most used range and only hardens when the suspension is compressed sharply. This protects the frame from damage. The effect: the F.O.L.D. chassis glides sensitively over root trails and gravel roads, but still offers sufficient reserves at large obstacles. When it comes to operating the drive, you have the option of reducing the cockpit to the essentials. Because if you pull off the standard Kiox display, the Bosch System Controller integrated into the top tube also displays the most important information: Battery charge level and currently selected support level.
