Focus Jam² 6.9 - The new Jam² with top FOX suspension and Shimano XT components

The Focus Jam² e-fully appeals to most bikers with its extended all-mountain range of use. With 150-millimetre suspension, it is positioned between the cross-country-oriented Thron² and the Sam² Enduro. All in all, the Jam² is a perfect e-fully for touring and trails with some advantages in difficult terrain. Be it on blocked trails or tricky descents. There are different series of the Jam², which differ in terms of motorisation as well as damper steering. The Jam² 6 series is equipped with the proven 4th generation Bosch Performance CX motor, which is powered by a 750 watt hour battery. Enough energy to rock your favourite trails as often as you want.

In version 6.9, the new Jam² leaves nothing to be desired. The Fox 36 Factory suspension fork loves tough off-road use and is therefore also aimed at enduro-oriented riders. The Fox Performance shock can be adjusted sensitively and works perfectly with the F.O.L.D. rear triangle. The gears and disc brakes come from the Shimano XT group, which is even used in the professional sector. Thanks to 4-piston technology, the brake calipers are extremely powerful in every situation. Last but not least, the Jam² 6.9 is equipped with a telescopic seat post ex works.

Innovative aluminium frame: Focus F.O.L.D kinematics and variable wheel size.

With the Jam² 6 series, Focus relies on durable and indestructible aluminium. And who says you can't build good frames from this proven material? Quite the opposite! Focus has developed the unique F.O.L.D. kinematics for optimum protection against punctures. A special design of the shock linkage ensures that the rear triangle hardens towards the end of the suspension travel, but reacts extremely sensitively to obstacles in the most used area of the suspension travel. The effect: the F.O.L.D. chassis glides sensitively over gravel roads, but still offers enough reserves for rough trails.

The latest innovation is a so-called FlipChip at the rear dropout, which allows free choice of wheel size. The Jam² 6.8 is equipped with 29-inch wheels ex works. However, if you turn the thread insert around, you can also mount a rear wheel with a 27.5 inch diameter. The fork works with both wheel sizes, so all combinations are possible. A corresponding adapter for the brake caliper is included.
