The Ergon SMC Core Women is a comfort-oriented saddle designed for touring, trail riding and all-mountain use, specifically tailored to the female anatomy. Core 3D technology allows for flexible adaptation to natural pelvic movement and significantly reduces pressure. At the same time, the contoured shape provides targeted relief in the sensitive genital area. The combination of ergonomic design, effective cushioning and high freedom of movement ensures a comfortable ride – ideal for long tours and challenging routes.

Technology

• Core 3D-technology: The flexible saddle core allows for natural pelvic movement whilst pedalling, significantly reduces pressure peaks and ensures a more even distribution of weight, whilst the integrated E-TPU core effectively absorbs vibrations.
• Infinergy: The elastic E-TPU core offers particularly high shock absorption, reliably absorbs impacts and, thanks to its strong resilience, quickly returns to its original shape, ensuring lasting comfort.
• TwinShell: The dual-shell construction specifically decouples movements between the upper and lower shells, thereby reducing pressure loads whilst simultaneously allowing flexible adaptation to the pedalling motion for greater comfort.
• Orthopaedic Comfort Foam: The specially developed foam adapts to the body’s anatomy, distributes pressure evenly across the sit bones and thereby noticeably increases comfort and the duration of comfortable seating on longer rides.
• Relief for women: The specially adapted shape and wide relief zone are designed to suit the female anatomy, reducing pressure in the sensitive genital area and ensuring improved pressure distribution and greater comfort over long distances.
