Together with top pros such as Rémy Métailler and Vali Höll, Ergon has optimised the GD1 even further.  The result: more damping, more grip, more comfort, more riding fun. Grippy on the outside, slim on the inside: that's the GD1 Evo. Conical shape, super-soft thumb zone, newly designed inner stop - plus the unique rubber compound made in Germany in the Factory version for an even more precise grip. Torsion-resistant, even on carbon handlebars, available in two diameters.

The GD1 Evo Factory has a conical shape. This means that the diameter increases towards the outside. The thicker area there offers more damping, while the grip is slimmer on the inside. This means you enjoy a high level of comfort even on hard trails and always have everything under control.

The non-slip surface profile with a new, super-soft thumb zone ensures maximum grip. The slim, newly designed inner stop also improves the hand's ability to find its position quickly and ensures full operability of the shift levers. At the same time, less force is required to grip.
