The Elite Fly Tex MTB is a highly versatile product, designed with the clear aim of providing mountain bikers with a functional, ultra-lightweight and durable water bottle that allows them to stay hydrated during off-road races without having to worry about cleaning the push-pull valve. The additional transparent plastic cap, which covers the valve, ensures reliable protection against dust, mud, dirt and other external elements that can accumulate on the spout during MTB use on mountain roads, bumpy trails and off-road rides.

Elite believes in every athlete’s responsibility to care for the world and nature, which form the backdrop to their cycling adventures. That is why they are proud to use 30% less plastic in the manufacture of the Fly Tex than other water bottles. In fact, the Fly Tex uses a minimal amount of material to create the bottle body, with a lightweight design incorporated right from the planning stage. The exclusive odourless, soft and durable plastic material that characterises the entire range of Fly water bottles is the result of a three-year experimental research project carried out by Elite in collaboration with university research institutions. This enabled Elite to manufacture water bottles using an innovative plastic material, ensuring that the taste of the liquid inside remains unaltered.

Characterised by a sporty design, with a new texture that optimises the grip and seal of the water bottle. Useful during races. With its standard diameter of 74 mm, it can be used with all standard bottle cages available on the market. There is a recess on the upper side of the bottle body, which improves the bottle’s stability in the cage whilst racing. The water bottle, with a more compact shape than the standard version, provides an optimal fluid capacity of 550 ml during the race, taking up less space, which is extremely useful on sloping frames or with two bottle cages mounted on the bike.
