The Deuter Trans Alpine 30 is a backpack specially designed for demanding mountain bike tours with extra volume for multi-day tours. It has flexible aluminium rails, an adjustable chest strap, ergonomically shaped and padded shoulder straps, external compression straps and ventilated hip fins, all of which ensure optimum carrying comfort and therefore safety on the trail. A practical smartphone pocket and a front pocket with mesh and buckle for quick access to important items.

A variety of practical details such as an organisation unit for tools, an inner compartment for valuables, a side pocket with zip for an air pump, for example, and a goggle holder make the rucksack easier to use. Safety features such as an integrated whistle and reflective elements ensure additional protection in emergencies or better visibility in traffic. The main material is made from recycled materials and the green button award emphasises its environmentally friendly production.

Choosing the right back length

With the Trans Alpine, it is important to choose the right back length in order to optimally distribute the load and relieve the back. The Trans Alpine is available in slim fit, regular fit and extra long fit. In the right size, it fits close to the body and can be worn almost like a piece of clothing.

Regular Fit

Technology

Contact System

• The ergonomically shaped back padding of the Contact System moulds itself to the back and distributes the weight of the load evenly. On the one hand, this protects the back and ensures comfort, and on the other hand, loads are easiest to carry close to the body. Open spaces between the padding provide pleasant ventilation, as does the breathable, robust 3D Airmesh cover.
