Deuter - Pico 5 Liter

The Pico prioritizes a comfortably padded back and pleasant carrying comfort thanks to S-shaped shoulder straps with soft-edge finishes. The 5-liter main compartment as well as the elastic side pockets of the bluesign product, which has been certified with the Green Button, provide enough space for all the important things that should not be missing on everyday adventures. The PFC-free fabric of a Pico is made from 100% recycled nine 0.5 liter PET bottles.

Bluesign Product

Consumer products awarded with the bluesign® Product label meet the strict safety and environmental requirements of the bluesign® system criteria. These products have been produced with bluesign® approved textiles and accessories in a resource efficient way with minimal impact on people and the environment.

Green Button certified product

The Green Button is a government seal for sustainable textiles. If you want to buy sustainable socially and environmentally produced products, look for the Green Button. A seal like the Green Button does not yet exist. The Green Button sets binding requirements to protect people and the environment. Climate-neutral product

By increasing the use of materials and technologies with a lower carbon footprint in our collections, we are working in the long term to reduce our carbon footprint to the maximum. However, even with the greatest efforts, we cannot make a product climate-neutral. Everything that we cannot reduce in our products today, we would like to compensate in cooperation with Climate Partner. In the future, when you buy a climate neutral deuter product, the amount of emissions released by the production and transport of the product will be offset by voluntary compensation and specifically invested in a selected social and climate protection project.

PFC free

This deuter product is free of per- & polyfluorinated chemicals. deuter thus reduces the use of environmentally harmful substances that pollute the environment and health. PFC is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease repellent properties. Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation, which is harmless to health and the environment.

Fabric made from 100% recycled PET

This model was made from recycled materials, more specifically PET bottles. All PET bottles were previously sent to the consumption cycle.
