Its history obliges: in 1990, the Bike 1 was the world's first bike backpack. Because the veteran has been continuously developed, it is now a highly functional and modern bike backpack for day tours. Deuter Airstripes

• 3D AirMesh lined shoulder straps. Anatomically shaped, they guarantee comfortable range of motion. The chest strap further secures the fit.
• Breathable mesh wings on the hip belt stabilise the load.
• Two contoured layers of nubby foam with AirMesh lining and minimal back contact ensure maximum air circulation.
• Flexible aluminium stays within the foam profile can be bent to fit the back precisely. (Bike I, Superbike and Trans Alpine).

PFC Free

This deuter product is free from per- & polyfluorinated chemicals. deuter thus reduces the use of environmentally harmful substances that harm the environment and health. PFC is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection, as they have water, dirt and grease repellent properties. Instead, deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and the environment.
