CUBE Travel EXC
The Travel SL is no ordinary sports tourer. A lightweight machine built around 700C wheels, Shimano's low-maintenance 8-speed Alfine hub gear and Gates' durable belt drive, it consigns rattling gears, oily chains and regular maintenance to the past. Powerful hydraulic disc brakes ensure you're always in full control, while there's clearance for tyres up to 42x622. And the full complement of included accessories - including rack, mudguards, lights and kickstand - means you're all set to go.
Frame
Simplicity can be a virtue, but the detail also matters. It's the reason we used double-butted aluminium tubes for the Travel's frame - so it's both light and strong. There's enough clearance to run tough, comfortable 700C tyres up to 42 mm wide. Lowrider rack compatability means the rigid aluminium fork is light, accurate and versatile. And our semi-integrated luggage carrier and built-in kickstand mount are the neat, elegant finishing touches.
