The CUBE Travel models are positioned between the Kathmandu series (rather long-distance oriented) and the Cross series (sporty, but without luggage rack and StVZO equipment). The main difference to the Kathmandu is the bolted mounting of the luggage rack. However, the stability is completely sufficient for most touring cyclists.
