Bosch Active Line Plus Motor – High quality from the market leader

All CUBE Town Hybrid models are equipped with the Bosch Active Line Plus engine. The compact power unit provides thrust at the right moment. With its torque of 50 Nm, the Active Plus engine intervenes very harmoniously in the drive system. This natural driving behaviour is particularly suitable for beginners, as the thrust can be very finely dosed via the cranks. The four support modes are controlled via a Bosch Intuvia display and switched over in seconds via a thumb switch. This also works while driving! The bandwidth ranges from Eco (little support) to Turbo (maximum support). In addition, the Active Line Plus engine is about 800 grams lighter than the Performance Series engines. This has a positive effect on the total weight of the CUBE Town Hybrid models. In combination with the 500 Watt battery, ranges of 80 kilometers and more are possible.In the CUBE Town Hybrid models, the battery is located between the seat tube and the rear wheel. This position creates maximum space for climbing through, especially on the models with Easy Entry and Trapeze frames. Older people appreciate this! In addition, this construction creates a long wheelbase, which ensures smooth running. This also benefits driving stability.
