CUBE Nuroad

What exactly is a gravel bike? Although this term has been in the cycling vocabulary for several years, some cyclists still don’t know much about it. In short: A gravel bike is a sporty bicycle for use in light terrain and on the road. A mixture of racing bike, cross bike and trekking bike. In addition to gravel and forest paths, even light trails can be ridden on a gravel bike. The field of application of the CUBE Nuroad ranges from fitness training to touring. Equipped with compact bags, the so-called Bikepacking, the Nuroad is ready for weekend adventures. A Nuroad is also ideal as a fast commuter bike in the city or for commuters.

Not all roads are in top condition; some are even quite rough. This is where the Nuroad comes in: this gravel bike combines the robustness of a cyclocross bike with the precision of a road bike, making it the perfect partner for all adventures off the beaten track. It makes it easy to discover new things, even far beyond the asphalt and without compromising on speed. The Nuroad is available with an aluminium frame or C:62 carbon frame, as well as an FE model with a complete set of accessories – so all gravel fans can find the ideal version for themselves and their requirements.

In addition to gravel and forest paths, even easy trails can be ridden on a gravel bike. The CUBE Nuroad can be used for everything from fitness training and touring to travelling. Equipped with compact bags, known as bikepacking, the Nuroad is ready for weekend adventures. A Nuroad is also ideal as a fast commuter bike for the city.

We all need a little extra help from time to time. Bosch’s smooth, light and powerful SX pedal assist system, combined with CUBE carbon frame technology, brings a new edge to gravel exploration. Get out, explore more, ride the road less travelled.

The Nuroad is a real allrounder. The basis for this is its smooth running geometry, combined with a sporty and comfortable seating position. The stem angle is much more reasonable than on a pure road racer, which means the saddle does not stand so high above the handlebars.

On gravel bikes all components are designed to improve riding comfort. On the Nuroad frame, for example, the low-set rear triangle ensures that vibrations are damped. Since the tires have to take the biggest share of the comfort, the tire clearance on the frame has been increased.
