CUBE Litening AIR C:68X SLT
The Litening AIR C:68X SLT takes the UCI rulebook on weight and frame design and translates it into an ultra-light, aero-sleek carbon race machine whose very essence is speed. From the carbon-spoked, carbon-rimmed Newmen Streem Climbing 35/38 Vonoa wheels – shod with 28mm Conti GP5000 S-TR tyres – to the carefully honed frame tube profiles, every detail is focussed on shaving seconds. The new aero carbon cockpit improves your performance even further, by up to 8 watts. And Shimano's range-topping Dura-Ace Di2 components – including a crankset with built-in power meter – transfer your power to the road and bring you safely to a stop. Frame Details
As we're fond of saying here at CUBE, it's all about the detail. The Litening® AIR is already an exceptionally light, exceptionally rapid frame. We worked with the pro riders on Team Intermarché-Wanty to make it so: around 799g for a mid-sized frame, and capable of being built into a 6.6kg race-ready bike that's fully UCI-compliant. But for the SLT version we wanted to go one better, so we developed a new one-piece carbon cockpit that's even more aero than before, saving up to 8 watts. It also provides a convenient mount for your bike compute, so you can keep track of just how much faster you're able to ride...
