Even as a young boy in Eritrea, Biniam Girmay followed the Tour de France as an enthusiastic spectator. In 2024, he made history himself when he won several stages of the Tour and took the green jersey. To honour his impressive performance and tireless commitment, CUBE has designed the Litening AIR C:68X Limited Edition frameset. The paint job on this frame is something very special and far more than just green. It starts with a transparent green layer overlaid with a crystalline base. When light falls on it, it is reflected from numerous angles, creating a fascinating depth and a dazzling spectrum of green tones. This is Green Litening: the new definition of speed and elegance, inspired by Biniam's historic victory.

Frame details

This frame is unique, just like Biniam Girmay. The stunning paint job starts with an irregular and contrasting crystal structure on the C:68X® carbon frame, which is then covered with a transparent green colour. CUBE calls it Crystal Effect because the light from different angles creates an almost three-dimensional surface and creates an impressive depth of colour. With the white accents echoing the design of the Tour de France green jersey, this frame is a real eye-catcher. Like all our Litening AIR C:68X frames, this model is the result of intensive research and development. However, the green Litening not only impresses with its looks, but also with its impressive speed.
