Famed for their ease of use, precision and dependability, the wide-ranging 1x12 gears and powerful hydraulic disc brakes are the obvious choice for our Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 SLT 400X. We also selected Bosch's new SX motor and Kiox display with 400Wh battery, for up to 55Nm of pedal assistance with a significant weight saving. Combined with the lightweight C:62® carbon frame, full carbon fork and carbon Newmen Phase 30 wheels plus superlight Schwalbe inner tubes, the result is a significantly svelter grand tourer. It's just as practical as ever, though, with our super-sturdy IC 3.0 integrated carrier and a full complement of accessories. Across town or across continents, it's got your back.

The Kathmandu Hybrid C:62 SLX 400's Easy Entry frame isn't just straightforward to ride and elegant in its simplicity – it's also extremely sophisticated and adaptable. Built from our proven C:62® carbon for the best blend of strength and low weight, we incorporated the Bosch 400Wh battery inside the frame structure for clean looks and the best dust and splash protection. Advanced internal cable routing complements the frame's organic appearance and the neat, versatile IC 3.0 rear carrier provides a sturdy, adaptable platform for all your carrying needs. Precise, nimble steering is handled by the full carbon fork, and we used Boost axles front and rear to ensure stable handling even when fully loaded. There's even a future-proof UDH gear hanger. We like to think we've thought of everything...
