CUBE Editor SLX FE
Fully equipped means what it says: a carrier for your possessions, mudguards to help keep you dry, lights so you can see and be seen, and a kickstand for parking. But that's just the start with the Editor SLX FE. An 11-speed Shimano Alfine hub, driven by a clean and quiet Gates carbon belt, offers a huge range of gears and practicallly no maintenance. And, with Schwalbe Marathon Green tyres and powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, you can slow and stop safely whatever the weather throws at you.
Frame details
It takes its inspiration from our mountain bike hardtails, but the Editor FE's frame is all about street smarts. The included accessory package of full length mudguards, sturdy luggage carrier, neat kickstand and compact lighting set gives you everything you need to ride the city safely, whatever the weather and at any time of day. Double-butted aluminium frame tubes are light, tough and – combined with the rigid fork – build into a bike that's pleasingly lively to ride. And the eccentric bottom bracket and split dropout accomodate the super-practical belt drive.
