Power is good, control is better. That’s why the Aim SLX comes with an adjustable 100 mm suspension fork that confidently absorbs bumps and jolts from the terrain – and can be locked out for road use thanks to its lockout function. CUBE has also fitted powerful, all-weather Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and grippy 2.25-inch tyres. If you want even more control, you can retrofit a dropper seatpost. When it comes to propulsion, Shimano’s wide-ranging 12-speed Deore groupset does a great job of transferring power from your calves to the ground. So? What adventure is next?

Frame Details

The Aim frame impresses with its super-clean look – thanks to the Smooth Welding process used for the head tube and seat tube joints, and the internally routed cables, which further emphasise the tidy appearance. There’s also a threaded bottom bracket and a mount for flat-mount disc brakes, which is seamlessly integrated into the kickstand mount. Mounting points for ACID mudguards and a luggage rack are included too. The special geometry features a lower top tube for super-reliable handling and leaves enough room for wide, grippy, comfortable 2.25-inch tyres. What’s more, the Size Split System offers a wide range of options – so everyone can find the Aim that’s perfectly suited to them and their height.
