Road bikes from Cervelo have enjoyed an excellent reputation for years. For some time now, the focus has not only been on pure high-performance sport, but also on riding pleasure. And that also on bad roads, off the beaten track. The Caledonia is not a real gravel bike - other Cervelo models can do that - but a very comfortable road racer. Besides after-work training, it is ideal for long tours, marathons and mountain passes in the Alps. Even as a fast commuter bike, the Caledonia can be equipped with the most necessary attachments. For maximum comfort, the Caledonia can be equipped with tyres up to 34 millimetres wide. With mudguards, the usable tyre width is reduced to 31 millimetres.

By using Low Modulus Carbon in the crucial places, it was possible to achieve outstanding durability in the new Caledonia frame. This is because low modulus carbon is less brittle than conventional high modulus carbon. In addition, the Caledonia frame scores with numerous clever detail solutions. For example, the removable front derailleur clamp, which is attached to the seat tube with two bolts. Not only can the component be replaced in a few easy steps in the event of a defect. The frame is also immediately compatible when new standards come onto the market. Or you can simply unscrew the front derailleur completely if you want to convert the bike to a single-speed drivetrain. The adapters for accessories such as mudguards, lights or a computer in the cockpit are also integrated almost invisibly into the frame.
