Cervelo Aspero GRX RX810 11G - The modern 1x11 version of the Aspero Gravelbike
As the summer season draws to a close, many road cyclists switch to an off-road bike. This is because cross-country has traditionally been practised as autumn and winter training. However, more and more road cyclists are now using a gravel bike all year round as an alternative to pure road cycling. Because a bike like the new Cervelo Aspero GRX RX810 offers a much wider range of use than a conservative cross bike. In this version, equipped with 1x11 drive and a telescopic seat post, it even resembles a cross-country mountain bike. Wheels and tyres create the conditions for a comfortable ride on gravel and forest roads: Here the Aspero frame is equipped ex works with 27.5-inch wheels and 48 millimetre wide tyres. So you can easily venture out on one or the other flow trail. A style that is commonplace on trails in the USA. You can easily convert to 28-inch wheels (700c). Maybe bikepacking is also an issue for you? Then you can mount minimalist panniers on the Aspero and start your weekend adventures.
Cervelo - Carbon frame building at the highest level
Carbon has outstanding damping properties and is therefore able to absorb vibrations. Best conditions for building a Gravelbike. Characteristic for the construction is, for example, also the low-set rear end. This measure ensures increased vertical flex towards the saddle. The lateral stiffness of the frame is not affected by this, so that your kicks are still immediately converted into propulsion. That's why the Aspero is also a lot of fun on the road. Sprightly, agile and fast - a real all-rounder. The equipment of the Aspero is 100 per cent suited to its field of application: Shimano's GRX series components have been specially developed for gravel bikes. They are robustly built and function smoothly even under rough conditions. At the rear derailleur, stronger springs keep the chain under tension. All bearings are optimally sealed against sand and dust. The GRX RX810 group belongs to the high-end class and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of finish.
