The geometry has been revised according to the latest findings and combines a long reach with a flat steering angle (66 degrees) and 435 millimetre short chain stays. This allows you to pedal light-footedly and with a lot of traction on the rear wheel uphill. The philosophy reveals itself as soon as you turn onto the first trail. Tight curves, fast steps, poisonous root carpets - thanks to the wide handlebars and the lowerable seat post you always keep full control. The aluminium frame of the Cannondale Habit 4 offers the same clever details as the much more expensive Carbon models. First and foremost is the rear triangle with the revolutionary Cannondale Asymmetric Integration System (Ai). The idea behind it: A drive train that is offset six millimetres outwards creates more space behind the bottom bracket. The advantages: 1. you can fit wider tyres (= more traction and comfort). 2. the chain stays are six millimetres shorter, which improves climbing ability and agility. 3. the rear wheel gains stability thanks to a more even spoke angle. The internal cable guides not only look smart, but are also unparalleled in their serviceability. Thanks to the guide tubes in the frame, the cables can simply be pushed through.
