The CAAD-13 Di2 uses almost no composite materials and is still super light. In the front sits a full carbon fork, which not only saves some weight, but also works resiliently and reduces shocks. The CAAD-13 is known for its comfort, combining a comfortable riding position, finely selected components and efficiency. Thanks to the newly designed SAVE rear triangle, this aluminium racer saves you even more energy and is much more pleasant to ride. The CAAD easily fits tyres up to 30mm wide. Furthermore, the CAAD-13 is equipped with a powerful Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brake and a complete Shimano 105 gear system. With a 50/34t crank and an 11-34 cassette, it is more suited for touring with gentle climbs. However, if you look at the success story of the CAAD, you will quickly see that 2x12 gears in this configuration are pure luxury for experts.

Frame details

Ever since the American manufacturer was founded, racing genes have been in the development of Cannondale frames. The international successes in gravel bike, road bike or mountain bike competitions speak for themselves. Another special feature of the CAAD-13 is the mounting for mudguards. The rear wheel is attached with a 12 mm thru axle and can be released quickly and easily with an hexagon socket.
