Alpina Carapax JR

Just like its big brother: the Carapax JR. is inspired by the adult model and thus promises optimum protection in off-road terrain for all junior mountain bikers. Its low weight, maximum head coverage and a long list of features give it an optimum price/performance ratio. The low weight is a result of the inmould manufacturing process, in which the upper shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS. This results in a firm surface connection, which is responsible for a very stable construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by the additional Edge Protect polycarbonate shell. In addition, the rear and the side of the temples are pulled further down for maximum safety on rough trails. This creates an even larger head cover. Large vents ensure optimum ventilation, fly screens keep insects away from the head, and the shield guarantees optimum protection in the field of vision. With the Run System Classic, which is combined with the height-adjustable Custom Fit, the bicycle helmet can be adapted to the head. Optionally, the rear light Multi-Fit Light can be retrofitted to the Carapax JR. for better visibility.
